::Love this place so much. Ryo-san and Tomomi-san are some of the most considerate, passionate and kind people you will get to meet. Their hard work and dedication make this hostel such a warm and calm place to stay at. And don’t get me started on the scenery! Amazing view of Yufuin village and the surrounding mountains! They offer the ride from the train station to the hostel as well, on top of friday night sport activities! Plus, their home made meals are soooo good, the presentation is also very cute. Definitely don’t miss out on this gem, made my stay in Japan one that I will never forget!!!

::This hotel has a very bad reputation in Japan. It is run by the owner who used to guide people to the hot springs saying they could see women naked. He flamed out on Twitter and fled. Japanese women will not stay at this hotel.

::Terrific hostel located in a really nice, laid back town. Owners went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I chose to have breakfast and dinner and it is great value for money as the food was delicious. Would highly recommend staying here. I am 56yo and have not stayed at a hostel in about 20 years, but this hostel was full of lovely people.
