  I have stayed at Tsukioka Onsen many times, which is close to where I live, but this time I used Seifuen for the first time. Heiantei is probably the old building? It wasn't new, but it was well kept. However, I was concerned that the refrigerator in the room was old-fashioned and couldn't hold much of my own drinks. Refrigerators these days are usually empty...I thought they would like to see an improvement on that point. I was satisfied with the thick sulfur hot spring source. The bath was smaller than I expected (open-air bath), so I doubt whether I would be able to use it when it's crowded. We were lucky because it was empty on the day we stayed. The food was delicious. I wish I could set the temperature of the air conditioner in each room. I guess it can't be helped since this is an old building. I would like to take care of you again.

  A wonderful onsen hotel with traditional Kaiseki dinner.

  Got a good last-minute deal with breakfast only. The room is traditional japanese and comfortable. Although not able to provide dinner (did offer to pay extra) ，probably due to a single traveler, the hotel has kindly booked a table at a sushi restaurant （good food) nearby for me. The onsen was nice and not crowded.

  Great Onsen Hotel. Really enjoyed the stay here. The hotel has lots of facilities and the onsen (of which it has two main) are great. The heated water onsen I thought was particularly nice with its rock lined outside bath. The naturally heated onsen is slightly smaller but really nice also. Service at this hotel is top notch and the staff are very helpful. The food is brilliant and there's enough to satisfy any preference and taste. Highly recommended.
