::The museum is nicely organize and has a lot of publication about Yayoi's life and art as well but the exhibit was somewhat lacking. We were expecting some of her more prolific and/or obscure pieces.
Carmen Irons
::Quite disappointed. Did not reflect her artistic brilliance or Tokyo; the dynamic city in which she lives. I’ve followed her exhibitions else where, her very own museum lacks the finesse that an artist of her stature deserves. So very underwhelming.

::Would have been interesting to include some more information about her life and evolution in her artwork and the collection was fairly small. Having said that the building was impressive and you get to see her pumpkin pieces which are fabulous. You have to book a long way in advance on the website, tickets come out around 2 months before the date in monthly intervals and sell out quickly. They cost 1000 yen which is reasonable

::This brand new small museum is a pearl in the middle of remote Bunkyo area. Nice building and great exposition. You have to book two months in advance on internet. It takes half to an hour to visit. Also kids can enjoy this colourful museum.

::It was nice but much smaller than anticipated. Not much to see inside other than one small infinity room installation and about 30 paintings. While the price is not exorbitant, the difficulty of obtaining tickets made me think that it would be a bit more impressive.
