::I stopped by to grab some Chinese food and have a quick drink. When I ordered beer and gyoza, I got a small piece of tofu that seemed like an appetizer. I thought the gyoza would arrive right away, but I had to wait quite a while. Is 1166 yen expensive? After this, I went to Hidakaya and was surprised at how cheap it was 😂

::I have been using this place for many years, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, I haven't been there recently. I had a chance to go there the other day, and when I went there around 1:30 after lunch, the employee looked annoyed and told me that they wouldn't be able to order until 2:30, but since I was in a hurry, I didn't mind and sat down. I order the same draft beer and gomoku yakisoba lunch as usual. The menu has also changed completely, and the extensive lunch service menu has completely disappeared. The lunch menu was narrowed down to several types. The gomoku yakisoba was supposed to be edible, but it had lost its flavor and the quail eggs tasted rotten. And best of all, there was no shrimp in it. When I told the staff, he looked suspicious and asked if there were any small shrimp in it. Then, I thought I was going to take the whole plate to the kitchen to check it, but instead, three shrimp were piled up on top of Ajinomoto's frozen shrimp shumai. I was surprised by this Has the coronavirus changed this store? The kitchen is staffed mostly by Chinese people, but with this type of service, the restaurant will likely close soon. There are many other independent Chinese restaurants nearby that offer good service and delicious food. However, the taste of this restaurant is worse than Bamiyan. On the way home, I suggested to the store clerk, who looked like the hostess, that all the employees should go to Bamiyan. Needless to say, the best product of the day was the draft beer.

::Visited for dinner. I ordered shrimp mayo, soft shell crab stir-fried with garlic, sweet and sour pork, tandan noodles, and gomoku yakisoba. Only the soft shell has a Hong Kong-like feel, but the rest doesn't feel very Hong Kong-like. The taste wasn't bad, but the shrimp mayo was just fried shrimp with mayonnaise, and the sweet and sour pork was mostly vegetables, so it wasn't very satisfying. Tuesdays and Thursdays seem to be half-price days, but if that were the case, I would be satisfied, but if it was full price, I'd probably go elsewhere.

::I received a hot noodle set with lots of spicy vegetables. It's really painful. It was a little cold, so it was nice to be warm. The seats aren't too crowded, so it's OK even if you're alone.
