  Today I tried to send money to pay for my wedding ceremony. On the website it says that these transfers will take up to seven business days, but the ladies at the counter said it will take approximately a month. They literally laughed at me when I told them that I wanted to have the transfer occur within a week. In the end I decided to send the money, but they wouldn't allow me to because the address on my my number card was different to that on my residence card. I can't believe how difficult they make it to use your own money. Avoid JP Bank as much as you possibly can.

  It is the slowest post office i have ever seen in Japan. There are 4 counter but, only one is working. For sending packet , i waited more than 30 min. They just keep people waiting. Edit: after 4 month i came to here again. Nothing changed. There are 4 mail place, but they don't work. They keep give number to people and keep wait. I have never seen this kind of post office across the Japan.

  I only come here weekends when all the other post offices are closed, and typically I only send stuff internationally. There's almost always a wait, but it's as efficient as it can be for a post office. Sure, some of the middle-aged staff can get a little short, but after you see multiple people not take a number and walk straight up to the counter, have absolutely no idea that labels or stamps exist, try to pick up stuff when there's a dedicated pick-up window by the entrance... you'd probably be a little testy too. Tip for the parking lot: if you want to avoid the cramped chaos of the parking lot and don't mind a bit of walking, park at York Benimaru (free!) and walk over There is a dedicated pedestrian path.

  It was a very bad experience. The Japanese language is often too polite so I gonna say this in English. An old lady missed her number but still went through a long procedure ahead of me. I was stuck at that counter because my number was displayed and the staff didn't do anything.I had to watch the people behind me completing their procedure at other counters. The old lady may not have realized I would be forced to wait, but the staff should have known and done something. It's NOT FAIR AND A WASTE OF MY TIME.

  I don't get it why the rating of this post office is so low. I've been frequently using their service for 2 years and I never had any problem. Service is great, staffs are incredibly helpful even if customers couldn't speak Japanese. Generally, this place would be crowded during lunchtime and evening, but I never spend more than 30 minutes here.
