::This spot is SO awesome! The Jelly coffee with ice cream with a slice of strawberry cake and a hot ham, egg and cheese sandwich are worth the wait. If you like coffee this is the place to be!! Open Very late if you are interested in a 12am coffee ☕️

::Cool, retro coffee shop with Taisho era decoration. The waitresses are immaculately dressed in era specific uniforms. They have an amazing coffee and cake set. Have a look at the selection in the glass display by the counter on the way in to choose your favorite. The entrance is directly opposite the main Ueno station exit, across the road. The shop is located next to the Yamshiroya toy store.

::Ordered a cake and two drinks, waited for a good 50mins for the items to be served. Drinks are certainly on the pricey side, 1200~1400yen per drink. We had their specialty original blend coffee and blend tea, both were mediocre. The only fancy part is probably the waitresses in maid uniforms.

::Came in here for a break after exploring the area and ordered two cakes sets - one with coffee and the other with tea. The coffee was smooth and wasn’t acidic at all, the tea was pretty good and came with slices of lemon. Cakes were delish and paired well with the drinks! This cafe does allow smoking though so even though we were seated away from the smoking area, you could definitely still smell whiffs of smoke - but we didn’t mind it too much. The interior is dark and quite cozy - our bill turned out to be around 40AUD total but it was worth the experience in our opinion

::Nothing special about the place except the waiting staff wearing maid uniform, apparently from the Taisho-roman era. Service was slow too on a weekday morning c 11am. The redeeming grace was the coffee, which although was good, was very expensive for what it's worth. Will not return.
