::Typical Toyoko-Inn chain hotel. Good location (eki mae = in front of the station, but actually it is a few minutes walk from the station), plain rooms with capsule bathrooms, Japanese breakfast included. Convenient stay for a low price.
Maeda Tadao
::Clean, convenient and roomy. Free breakfast is fantastic! Reasonable price.

::Pretty close to the station, so thats a plus, but roomwise, it's really quite cramped. We got two twin beds and there basically no space to even open your luggage. There is a complimentary breakfast, but it is quite basic, so don't expect a whole lot. It's a budget hotel, but really budget accomodations.

::There are two Toyoko inns in Tokushima, this one is the closest to the station. Stayed here two nights during the Awa Odori festival. All Hotels' rooms in this city were booked out months in advance during the festival. Considered ourselves lucky to get a room in this hotel. As added bonus, we found out later that one of the parades started on the street just next to the hotel.

::Very small and they did not make good use of space having 2 twin sized beds instead of 1 double. Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all and we were forced to check in almost exactly at 4pm (scheduled check in time). Also not very close to the station or any convenience stores.
