::It’s fine but oldish, there is dust here and there. I have seen better Tokoko Inns. But I have never seen Toyoko 😱

::While the staff were friendly enough, our two-night stay in a twin room was a bit of a disappointment. The room’s proximity to the giant neon sign meant a constant, glaring blue light filtering through around the curtains. One bed was awkwardly positioned against the wall, just shortly under the curtain, and the bathroom was surprisingly small, even by Japanese standards. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt outdated and less than inviting. We arrived late for breakfast on our first day, and the leftover food didn't look very appetizing. We opted to skip it the next morning, but it seemed to have improved when we passed through the dining area at a earlier time. The hotel's convenient location near the bus terminal was a plus, but the room's shortcomings overshadowed this perk.

::The front desk clerk Ayashi (female, in her 50s, sometimes with glasses and sometimes without glasses) was being very rude. When she scanned my passport on July 10 this year, she folded one page of my passport, the one with my photo on, but she didn't apologize to me, and she didn't even say anything, just pretending nothing had happened. So rude and unprofessional!!! Passports are important documents, and I just don't understand how she could handle customers' passports in such a careless way!!! Also, the hallway to rooms was stale and hot without any air conditioning. We had never stayed at any hotel without air conditioning in the hallway.

::The location of this Toyoko in is a little bit further away from the main JR train station compared to the other Toyoko Inn. However, they do offer a free shuttle to and from so that definitely helps. This location is very close to cable car station that takes you up Mount Bizan so definitely head there for a nice view of the city. The free breakfast was good via a small selection of hot and cold food. The rooms seem quite spacious and it's quite nice that you can hide your luggage under your bed to free up floor space while staying. Other hotels around Japan don't always have this.

::Enjoy staying in this hotel. Very clean room and friendly staff. Walking distance to all locations. Breakfast was awesome and is FREE. Definitely value for money. Highly recommended.
