::When I went there in the summer, the smell of mosquito coils in the store was so bad that I felt sick and had a headache.I ate the Tokyo-an set meal and it was like I was eating mosquito coils. I'm sure this would be understandable at a restaurant, but all five members of my family ate with the same opinion and hurried home.

::Specially come from Taiwan to look for traditional-flavored soba noodles, udon noodles, and patio set meals.
おか
::A local udon and soba restaurant that you'll want to visit regularly. You can enjoy local dishes such as quail eggs added to the condiments in the colander or miso stew udon. Since it's local, the soup stock is also sweet. It is a taste that Aichi Prefecture residents are accustomed to. There's nothing wrong with it, but the prices seem a little high depending on the item.

::A historic noodle restaurant in Toyohashi that was founded in the Meiji era. I visited for the first time to try Toshikoshi Soba with high expectations. This day was a New Year's Eve limited menu, so there were fewer options than usual. I ordered ``Tempura Soba'' from among them. The appearance of the noodles is black and thin for soba noodles. I don't know if it was because of the longer boiling time, but it was quite soft when it was served. It felt too long and didn't feel good going down my throat. Although I tried to eat it seriously, I was disappointed that I could not experience the true goodness of soba. It may not be suitable for people who want chewy noodles. The soup has a sweet flavor with a lot of mirin, which is what customers like. The shrimp tempura and vegetable kakiage had a good balance of batter and ingredients, and the light texture was impressive. Judging from the menu display, it seems like they are recommending udon. Next time I would like to try Zaru Soba or Udon. “How do we inherit traditional tastes over a long history and pass them on to future generations?” “What should we do to be loved by our customers for a long time?” I learned a lot in my 40 minute stay. Thank you for the meal.

::Tabelog 3.42(60) Visited at noon on a weekday in November 2023. The parking lot was in the back. When we arrived around 1pm, the place was full. After a while we were seated. I ordered the curry nanban + mini tempura bowl set. It was delivered in about 10 minutes. The curry has a dashi taste and is delicious (^^) The udon noodles are not very chewy and are rather soft. It felt more like a soup than a regular curry, and the amount of curry was quite large (^^) This restaurant seems to have a long history, and I think you can enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere.
