  This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend staying here to experience an authentic Japanese home-stay vibe. The house is idyllic and impeccably clean. I especially loved sitting by the fire in the spacious living room—it was the perfect spot to relax. The landlady is incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. You can also order breakfast and dinner here, which I highly recommend. Stayed for two nights but would have loved to stay longer—and hopefully, I’ll be back!

  This hostel is not just an inn, but someone’s house and you can feel the difference. The owners are incredibly nice and make delicious food. Because I was hitchhiking they sent me off with various local snacks and helped me as much as possible. so thoughtful! I only stayed for 2 nights but felt like I had become apart of the family. Very warm and loving atmosphere.

  A clean and comfortable managed by a very nice couple. The rooms are spacious and the food is very delicious. Highly recommended.

  Warm and comfortable hotel run by a lovely couple. Our family of four shared a room that was comfy and adorable. There’s a wood burning stove in the living room that was our favorite thing about the hostel. Bathrooms are very clean and there’s plenty of info regarding the famous onsens nearby.
