  Stayed on the 4th floor on the mountain side in a Japanese-Western style room with an open-air bath.The room was spacious and well-maintained. The open-air bath in the room had good spring quality and was soothing. Dinner is so delicious that you won't be able to finish all the dishes, such as butter-grilled abalone, steak, and simmered goldfish. Breakfast is just right and delicious.

  The forecast was for rain, but I'm glad it was cloudy. Even the long journey from Numazu IC was soothed by the kind and courteous service from the front desk and Mr. Nakai. If the weather is nice, you can watch the beautiful sunset from your room, which will calm your mind. This is my 4th time at Toi Onsen (previously I stayed at three inns nearby), and it's very close to Toi Kanayama, and within walking distance of shrines and temples where you can get goshuin stamps. There is also a large public bath, an open-air bath, and three family baths ♥️Dinner at the restaurant was in a private room. I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet day.

  Meals were outstanding. Could not even finish all the food. Best hotel onsen of the 4 hotels we stayed at in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu area. Helpful staff. Must be off the beaten path. We were the only Westerners there. Reachable by Tokai Bus.
