If the test shows no abnormalities, you don't need to see a doctor, right? Waiting 2-3 hours for a 2-minute consultation, waiting 30 minutes to get the next appointment slip, paying the bill, waiting for medicine, I'm already feeling sick from stress.

I went to the obstetrics and gynecology department, where I was examined by a shabby old man. I showed them the numbers from my X-rays and blood tests and they said, ``What should I do about this condition?'' But even though they showed me the photos and the numbers, I'm not a doctor, so I didn't know what was wrong or needed treatment. I don't know. I was shown three types of medicine and asked, ``Which one would you like to take?'' But I didn't know unless he explained the advantages and disadvantages of each, so I asked the doctor. I was annoyed when he said, "Didn't you see the pamphlet I gave you last time?" so I'm currently going to another hospital.

I'm currently in the hospital. I was very worried at first because the reviews weren't very good, but the gynecology doctors didn't have that problem at all, and everyone from my doctor to the nurses on the 3rd floor ward took great care of me every day. I feel safe. There's only a little time left in the hospital. I will do my best!

The quality of doctors varies considerably depending on the department. I underwent surgery because I was told that I had a skilled doctor, and the anesthesiologist and other staff took great care of me, so I was able to complete the surgery without any anxiety. The post-discharge care was also good, including the nurses. Personally, I don't have a good impression of orthopedics and respiratory surgery. There are too many doctors who speak harshly. Especially to elderly people, they don't hesitate to say things like, ``You're old, there's nothing you can do about it. Even if you come here, it won't get better, what should you do?'' New young doctors who have been transferred often say similar things. It made me wonder if that's the kind of constitution he has. It's a fairly old local hospital (formerly NTT Hospital), so there are a fair number of patients, but the highly trusted doctors are no longer independent. And I think many patients end up going to clinics run by independent doctors. The only advantages are that they accept new patients only in the morning and that they have testing equipment. Parking is 100 yen if you have a parking ticket processed. It won't be free.

On the 13th, I went to Wakabayashi Hospital before my appointment because my left leg would be in a cast for two weeks. I thought it would be empty because it was Obon, but I was the second person in front of the X-ray room, so I went to the orthopedic clinic with confidence and was surprised. I couldn't sit on the waiting bench, so I sat on the waiting bench of the ophthalmology clinic next door and waited. Then, there was a sign on the wall of the ophthalmology clinic's reception area prohibiting photography. I thought there was no sign posted at the reception desk of the orthopedic clinic, but there was a similar sign posted at the entrance to the examination room inside. From now on, we will stop uploading inside the hospital. While I was having the cast replaced, I chatted with the nurse who told me that this hospital is only closed on Sundays and public holidays, so many people come here during Obon holidays and other times. What's more, even though it's a university affiliated hospital, you don't need a referral to be seen, so it gets crowded especially when other hospitals are closed.
