::While staying in Morioka, you can eat the three main dishes of Morioka - cold noodles, soba, and Jjajamen - from breakfast the next day until 12 noon. And I will participate in the afternoon tea that I reserved for 13:00. After eating the cold noodles served for breakfast at 8 a.m., I go to Takizawa City to digest the food and return to Morioka around 10 a.m. I eat Jjajjamen right away. And then go up and down the Morioka Castle ruins. At 11:30, we visit Wanko Soba Restaurant and have a light appetizer of Zaru Soba for lunch. We walk back to Morioka Station for about 30 minutes and make a boat to have afternoon tea. Stop by Midori-no-Madoguchi, purchase an Akita Shinkansen ticket, and enter the lounge. A friendly staff member with a very friendly smile will politely guide you to your reserved seat. The lounge is located on the 1st floor lobby level. There is a carpet on the floor. For drinks, I drank one cup each of iced coffee and black tea. It comes with 3 types of savory, sliced pizza with the bread of the day, and plenty of salad. Scones and maple syrup are also served. A total of 10 types of sweets are added to the two-tier tray. Desserts using Shine Muscat are the mainstay of the menu. The baked goods have good taste and the cream products are also good. It is a bite-sized finger food and is dense. You can feel the leisureliness of a local city. At the end, when you finish eating, sorbet is served for dessert. Places like this are good. This is because if it comes out early, it will melt or you will have to eat it midway. It's a 4-minute walk from Morioka Station, so you can enjoy it in time for the train. ::Lounge inside Hotel NewWing...Since it's a local location, there aren't many opportunities to go inside the hotel, but if you want to enjoy a luxurious and quiet atmosphere, the tea lounge is recommended. This time, I was curious about the menu in collaboration with Suica, so I visited, but I was also interested in the coffee and baked goods set, as well as the afternoon tea set (reservations required). Although the price is a bit high, but considering the good atmosphere, I recommend it when you want to have tea near the station.

::The cake set was 1300 yen🍰 The coffee was refilled and the tea was served in a pot, so I had two cups. It had a nice atmosphere with comfortable sofas and lighting.

::This coffee shop is located on the first floor of Hotel Metropolitan, and I got the impression that it was used by many hotel guests. If you avoid crowded times, you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing time. I received the "opera" cake and hot coffee from the cake set, and both were quite delicious. It seems that refills of coffee are free, so I received them without hesitation after being asked by the staff. It's also fashionable that water is served in wine glasses. It felt like a classy cafe, and I would like to go there again.

There are cakes with similar pricing in the prefecture, so it's not like they're outstanding. It's a bit disappointing that there don't seem to be that many types of cakes.
