I went to Tentomi. Tentomi is located about a 5-minute walk from Kannai Station on the JR Keihin Tohoku Line. I entered the store as soon as it opened, sat at the edge of the counter near the entrance, and looked at the lunch menu. I ordered the ``Edomae Tendon'' which has several types of seafood and kakiage. "Edomae Tendon" was served in about 10 minutes. ``Tendon'' comes with pickles and red eel soup. The tempura rice bowl contained well-fried vegetables, shrimp, conger eel, and squid wrapped in shiso, with a conger eel bone on top. The amount of rice was not very large, and the sauce was elegantly sweet and not overpowering. The Squid Shiso Maki is made with great detail, as you would expect from a first-class restaurant. It was delicious. Also, the red sea bream soup stock has a strong soup stock, and the large sea bream soup is very delicious. The elderly women at the ballroom were devoted to serving customers in an elegant manner. It seems that the rice bowls are prepared in the kitchen inside, so next time I would like to order the tempura set meal and eat while watching the work being done at the counter.

Visited on a weekday night. This is a famous and long-established tempura restaurant in Yokohama Kannai. In the evening, you only have a course, and you sit at the counter and have the host fry the food right in front of you. We started with shrimp heads, then had shrimp, matsutake mushrooms, kisses, milt, oysters, chestnuts, conger eel, shiitake mushroom stuffed with shrimp (not included in the course), and more. It doesn't smell like oil, and you can tell that it's fried in high-quality oil. The batter is thin, but it's not super crispy, but moist. Personally, I liked the milt, chestnut (sweet and fluffy), shiitake mushroom stuffed with shrimp and it was delicious. To finish off my meal, I had a mini kakiage bowl. Finally, we were shown to a separate seat where we had oysters for dessert and tea. Thank you for the meal!

A restaurant that serves elegant tempura that doesn't feel greasy. It's expensive, but everything was top quality. The kakiage contains celery, which serves as an accent and complements the other ingredients. I enjoyed the crunchy texture of the conger eel bones. I want to stop by when I want a little luxury.

Used for my mother's birthday dinner. A long-established tempura restaurant in the Bashamichi area. The real thrill of being able to enjoy domestically produced ingredients at the counter is really great. The cod buds, which can be said to be the arrival of spring, have a wonderful aroma that wafts through your nose, and the seafood is really delicious when eaten refreshingly with lemon and salt. I also really like the clean interior of the store, where you don't have to worry about oil splashes. There are 3 types of courses. Our monthly course is 10,500 yen. It came with several small bowls, nine tempura dishes, and seasonal fruit. There are courses that come with sashimi (Hana 12,500 yen, Miyabi 15,000 yen), but since I wanted to try more tempura, I chose the monthly course and ended up being pretty full. Dessert was set up in a separate table with refreshing fruit and tea. A very satisfying thing. It seems that many people use it during lunch time, but please try it at night as well.
