::I am so pleased to stay at Westin hotel Kyoto for five days. They have amazing service and supplies. The shelter bus is helpful as well. Will definitely come again!

::Here’s the deal: the Jr Suites are in the newly built section and are bomb. The regular rooms pretty much suck. The price difference is massive but if you can score a platinum upgrade off-season you’re stoked!

::Like most westin hotels it provides amazing rooms and amenities from start to finish and we place this as an entry level 5 star hotel due to some limitations on the amenities during our stay. The star for us was the gym, spa and onsen. The gym was easy to access and had enough to do do most workouts. The spa and onsen were amazing. They are both pretty new and very large. A unique experience for the onsen if you have never done one before we highly recommend. The pool access was limited in late april with the outside one closed the indoor one was very crowded with children which prohibited laps from being done (dissapointing). The rooms are great and we had club access as well. No complaints there, the AC was solid, the beds, bath and connectivity was very good. The club access was nice but every day they told us to only stay for an hour as it is very busy. We never stayed longer but pretty odd to be told that every day. Seems like they should limit the number of people or build a bigger club if it is that big of an issue. Food and drink on site was great and the location was perfect for us. There is train access very close and you are near hiking trails which is what we wanted as a respite from the city.

::We had an amazing time at this hotel. Loved the service and luxury and enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour lounge too. I loved the hidden gems of this hotel like its gardens and trails. It’s very walkable and has shuttle services to nearby attractions too. The Sakura season was just a big juicy cherry on top . Simply magical ! I would stay here again for sure.

::Family of four, travelling in March 2024 This was a really positive surprise: our expectations, based on the images, were of a decent hotel. Not bad, but nothing special either. It turned out to be a really nice hotel. Rooms were new and clean with good space, service was great and we’d definitely come back.
