  The cash register is unmanned in the morning. When it's crowded, there's only one clerk there, and it's rough enough that minors can buy alcohol. Wouldn't it be better to have a well-manned cash register?

  I use it often because it's cheaper than the surrounding area, has a wide variety of products, and has a large parking lot. There are many reviews that point out the customer service attitude of the staff, but it's just like a regular supermarket so there's nothing to worry about. If you want the same level of customer service as a hotelier at a supermarket, then why not go to Karuizawa?
