There are only a few cash registers, and there is a line to check out from early evening onwards. Also, since they are putting out items at the same time, there are unpacked boxes all over the place, which gets in the way. There seems to be a thorough separation of duties, with the cash register being the cash register and the stocking the items being stocked, and no matter how busy the cash register gets, the person stocking the items doesn't seem to bother following up at all.
