  nostalgic! It was still there! I used to use Big in Hatsukaichi City when I was in extreme poverty. I loved that it was cheap and had a wide variety of products. The one I visited for the first time in 20 years was the same Big Daimon store. The large sales floor was the same as back then, but somehow there was a sense of shortage. Also, the prices of everything have gone up recently. Reminiscing about those nostalgic days, I instantly woke up to a time trip ^_^

  I was curious about this place when I came to Fukuyama the other day, so I went there. There is no Aeon store with the name "Aeon" in Fukuyama, and this Aeon group store seems to be there instead. I knew that The Big was a discount supermarket, but it certainly was. Compared to Aeon Mihara store and Aeon Style Onomichi, the product prices were generally lower. When looking at the drinks, I was impressed with the sense of value for money compared to regular Aeon and Aeon Style products, such as surprisingly low-priced products and cheap sweet breads. What surprised me was that some of the top value products sold by the Aeon group were cheaper than the Aeon Mihara store and Aeon Style Onomichi. Since this is Aeon's private brand product, I thought the price would be the same at all Aeon group stores. Although it was a short shopping trip, I think this is a supermarket that offers great value. Also, I had the impression that the customer service of the cashier was good. One thing I'm worried about is that there are Hallows and Zagzag nearby. The competition seemed to be quite fierce, and it seemed like it would be difficult to survive.

  The Big has three stores in Fukuyama (Daimon-cho, Kannabe-cho, Shinichi). Since it is an AEON group, “5% off on the 20th and 30th!!” In addition, the cost performance of PB (private brand) is high, so I visited with the purpose of purchasing "cat litter" in bulk. but! The Daimon store here has a particularly poor selection of products, and I checked with the store to see if they had stock, but the PB cat litter was sold out! Last time I came, it was sold out, and I'm really bad at ordering refills. There was a poor selection of products and there were empty shelves, and there were discounted milk, yogurt, and meat items left at 2 p.m. Even though it's the middle of a three-day holiday, the selection of products is very tasteless. I think the store manager probably doesn't realize the sales opportunity loss. Unfortunately, I didn't go shopping and headed back to the Kannabe store, which had a good selection of products.
