  Fantastic staff, friendly and professional. All areas were very well kept and clean. Breakfast was delicious, there was a wide variety of food to choose from. Highly recommend staying at this hotel, we would definitely come back.

  Great ryokan just in the middle of the city centre. The view from the window is breathtaking! Breakfast is delicious with lots of local food. Onsen is good and friendly to foreigners. Stuff very gentle and they so provide free shuttle to station. Best choice in Tendo!

  We stayed one night and it was amazing! We been to Japan 4 times. And this outdoor bath was really unique. The staff were very friendly and rooms were great :)the breakfast was also delicious. would recommend

  I think they deserve a 4 star. Great experience here. Old style but big tatami room. Onsen here are nice too, with both indoor and outdoor onsen, and their is a waterfall view too. Worth to add on there omakase style dinner, like it so much. And also their reserved breakfast in the super duper wide hall.

  As for the Onsen, it's wonderful. Quite a large changing room and bath. The outdoor area is wonderful, with a large waterfall filling your view, the 2 genders are separated by a wall, but the acoustics are such that you cannot hear anyone but those you're sharing the baths with.
