::I am forever grateful to Dr. Dejima in the Thoracic surgery department. I was diagnosed with a mediastinum tumor in January, and had several different opinions before I was referred to Teikyo. He listened to me carefully with professionalism and with humanity. I will say, my inpatient care at the hospital was difficult because my Japanese wasn’t great, but we all tried our best. My surgery went smoothly, I am fully recovered and I owe it to Dr. Dejima. Even if you dislike hospitals, the experience would be bearable if all doctors were like him.
