::I had a very unfortunate experience, so I would like to write about the details below. I had lived in Thailand for a long time, but last year I became seriously ill, so I returned to Japan to see a heart surgeon in Tokyo. My cardiac surgeon urged me to complete my dental treatment before surgery, so I went to this local dentist, and that's how I started going here. On the first day of my appointment, the director checked my mouth and said, ``Thai dentists are incompetent!Japanese dentists are university students, but Thai dentists are elementary school students. They are on a different level. There are too many things to heal, and no matter how hard I try, I won't be able to make it in time for surgery.'' "No, it's impossible." Although I felt that the director was quite eccentric, I asked him if he could speed up the treatment since I was about to undergo a major surgery, but he said, ``No matter what I do, it will be impossible to finish the treatment in time for the surgery.'' answer. In the end, we agreed to have the treatment proceed as much as possible before the surgery, but regarding the letter reporting the treatment status to the cardiac surgeon in Tokyo, he said, ``I don't want to be bothered if they complain about it later, so I don't want to receive treatment. I'll give you a reply that it won't end. It's impossible.'' I felt very anxious as I was about to undergo a major life-threatening surgery. Once admission to the hospital began, treatment was carried out as follows. 1st treatment: Treatment of two small cavities 2nd time: ``I'm going to clean it today'' and remove tartar from only the upper teeth. 3rd time: ``This time it's cleaning again'' and only removing tartar from the lower teeth. I wondered why he had to spend so much time removing tartar twice, but since I didn't have time before surgery, I couldn't change to another dentist now. After that, I was admitted to a cardiac surgeon in Tokyo for an examination, and the date for the actual surgery was finally decided. When I asked him about the progress of his dental treatment, and I told him that all I had done so far was to remove tartar, he gave me a very suspicious look. After being hospitalized for tests, I returned to Aomori and had my last dental treatment before surgery. Once again, I was surprised when I was told, ``I'm going to clean your teeth today.'' I told her that my teeth had been cleaned twice, once last time and the time before last, but she said, ``There's still some stains,'' and she asked me to remove tartar from the top and bottom again. (So what exactly was the treatment you received last time?) Even though I was proud of the high level of Japanese dentists, I never really felt it. Finally, the director turned away and said, ``Good luck with your surgery,'' and all pre-surgery treatment was completed. Maybe it's because I'm a rural practitioner, but I had a very unpleasant experience. I felt that there was a lot of room for improvement in my response as a doctor.

::My child is the type of child who cries and screams violently, and other dentists could only treat her with medication to slow the progress until she calmed down, and it took months to treat one area, but the dentist here has several dental assistants. I was able to finish it in a short time because I was able to hold it down. Some people may think it's too much to force a crying child, but as a parent of this type of child, it's very helpful. If you get angry, you may end up injuring your mouth during treatment. This dentist also provides dentistry for children with disabilities, and although it may seem difficult as some of the children often get violent, I'm impressed with how well the dentist (there are several dental assistants) handles the situation well.

::Not only are the doctors very skilled, but the clinic is also very clean, and I think it's by far the cleanest dentist I've ever been to.

::A friend of mine previously had an appointment scheduled for 11:00, but the actual appointment was at 12:30. Apparently, a child was being examined during that time, but three adults were holding down the crying child, and their angry voices could be heard in the waiting room. By the way, my friend was not given any explanation about the treatment of [bridge] and had a good tooth other than a cavity removed, so when she hurriedly went to see the doctor, the treatment was explained to her for the first time, and she had no choice but to go to the end. 😅
