::Take a full-day tour of Saikai University on a day trip bus tour departing from Hakata Station. This tour was to Saikai City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and for lunch, we had a sashimi mackerel umami set meal at the sushi/kappo restaurant "Sushi Masa." Saikai City is said to be breeding striped horse mackerel to ensure a stable supply of high-quality striped horse mackerel. As for the meal, you will be very satisfied with the sashimi, lemon steak, simmered fish, chazuke, and zuku sushi zukushi. I was very satisfied because I was able to fully enjoy the striped horse mackerel. The white rice is delicious rice grown by the owner. It was perfect for the fish.

::The food was very delicious. The menu was all in Japanese. So if you do not read Japanese bring a friend that does. 1150 yen for a tempura meal set. Rice, fried fish, miso fish soup. 1460 yen for sashimi sushi meal set. Rice, fried fish, miso fish soup. 860 yen for fried chicken meal set. Salad, rice, fried fish, miso fish soup. Hot Green tea, and water. I had great service and a wonderful private tatami dining room setting. This restaurant also had plenty of guest parking.

::You have a choice of dining on the floor of private tatami matt rooms or at the sushi bar. Sushi Masa has carried on for 40 years. We chose the most popular menu primarily because the menu is only in japanese (reason for 4 stars). My wife and I weren't disappointed. After the third or fourth sip miso soup tends to taste salty, but not at Sushi Masa. The tempura house sauce was also very delicious.

::Very good sushi! More of traditional Japanese group setting. Great fresh seafood and atmosphere. Detailed in taste and looks. One of the better restaurants I've been around here.
