Locally caught small fish such as rockfish and soybean, which are not sold in supermarkets, are available in stores, and are generally cheap. Meat is a little more expensive than at the co-op. The vegetables depend on what you buy, but the prices are about the same as those at the co-op. Other general products such as miso, soy sauce, bread, flour, etc. are more expensive than the co-op. This may be because there are no competing stores in Toyama, but I hope they try a little harder. Oh, the toilet was clean.
