::Quaint little soba place tucked away in between some residential buildings. The soup was flavourful, and the pork was tender and melt in your mouth. Worth the travelling to.

::Incredible place. A traditional building where you can enjoy, sitting on the tatami, excellent soba in broth. The meat melts in your mouth and is very tasty. We got the menu with soba (three kinds of meat inside), rice and vegetables (cost is 1550 yen). We also added an egg (150 yen) that we ate with the soba. The staff is friendly and helpful. Accompanying the meal was a choice of music with tropical 80s vibes. The place was so good and the atmosphere so pleasant that we were moved by the first taste. Please escape the tourist routes and discover authentic Japan! Really recommended!

::First Okinawa soba experience and Sobe Soba never fails. Interesting texture on the noodle and the broth is slightly towards a clear taste, as you can add their in house Awamori (Okinawan liquor) to the soup for an additional punch. I ordered the basic Okinawa soba and Nankotsu So-ki soba (not in photo) and I must say the cartilage tasted so so good. Love the atmosphere of this place, which was converted from an Okinawan style house, playing English rock style Japanese songs. Highly recommended for first timers to Okinawa. (English menu is available upon request)

::In A Nutshell: -Sobe Soba was a great find for lunch. -It's nestled in a neighborhood, but if you drive there was a parking attendant to help guide you into a space. -I walked which made it easy. -This is a popular spot you might have to put your name on the list, but you won't wait for long, I waited about 10 minutes. -After you take off your shoes, you will be seated on the ground. -Menus will be on the tables already. -I ordered the Beat Sprout Soba Set & it comes w/ a couple otooshi side dishes plus a small bowl of fried rice. -This meal was excellent, the broth was rich in flavor & the bean sprouts paired perfectly w/ the slices of pork & soba noodles. Overall, I highly recommend eating here!

::Amazing. this shop is quite off the road, not near the usual tourist areas. Once you arrive you will see many people waiting to be seated. You need to go up to the main entrance and write your name down on the waiting list. There are few seating areas for you to wait. inside is this beautiful little Japanese house with alot of cute traditional decorations. we had a tiny table facing the courtyard outside which was kind of cute. there is not too many options (same as any other Soba noodle shop in JP), we chose the 2 diff kinds of meat. the Soup base is 5 start - looks like light broth but super flavorful. the both kind of meat were super tender and juicy. the meat fell right off the Ribs . We also had a bowl of rice to share just to have a taste and I have to say Mikayojima has really good quality rice. For anything visiting, come early to wait (at least 20-30min) but is definitely worth the time
