  I went there once in the evening to eat when it was open. Many customers started arriving around 11:30 for lunch. My friend had Kurodo lunch and I ordered whitebait bowl and zaru soba. Even though it's a soba restaurant, Kurodo Lunch didn't come with soba noodles, so the main side was either fried fish with bean paste or chili sauce. There were 4 types of small side dishes. There seemed to be a lot of other people ordering the Kurodo lunch, but I wanted to eat soba, so I decided to have the shirasu bowl, thinking that just the zaru soba wasn't enough. The soba noodles were softer and less chewy than I expected...The soup stock was rather strong and I didn't think the flavor was as strong as the soup stock. I think everyone has their own tastes when it comes to soba, so I didn't like the soba. I was seated at a large table, but there were only two places to go up to the tatami room in the back, so I felt uncomfortable as people kept passing by behind me.

  At this time of year, there are no comparison sets available, so I had the Junmai Ginjo and vegetable tempura zaru soba. Soba is delicious, but vegetables are also delicious. The soba soup was also very delicious.
