::Staff was very friendly at check in and hotel is a 5 min walk to the train station. Breakfast is not included ( but I noticed it's all bread so not a huge loss) Rooms are very dated and falling apart. The carpet is lifting everywhere and almost tripped. Walls and furniture look beat up. The refrigerator in the room does not actually work. It's more of a cooler to keep things cold but not make them cold. So we lost our bento we were saving for the morning. We were laying in bed and saw the hugest spider on the wall running back and forth. We were able to catch and kill it finally. I went to the front desk to complain and asked if this was normal. He laughed and said yes. Out of all the hotels in Japan and even America ( I've been here for 3 weeks), this is the first time I've had a spider issue. He offered to change rooms but said well there shouldn't be a second one, but it's up to you And laughed again.I don't care how much of an adult you are but I doubt you would like to find a spider the size of your hand running on your face at night. He gave me a room key and said we could just have both rooms to decide. I went to the new room that was offered but this floor smelled so bad like must and smoke I opted to stay in my room. You can't really win. So here's to hopefully going to sleep and you choosing a diffrent hotel

::On a business trip. The location is perfect, close to the station, restaurants nearby, buffet bread breakfast was good. Coffee was good too. Room was clean and amenities were adequate.

::Didn't take any pictures. But I went there and stayed for one night. It is really cheap but quite nice. The hotel has amazing staff and one of them could speak very fluent Korean. It is only 6000 yen for one night. So, hopefully, dont complain anything because it is really awesome, compared to its price. The room is quiet, cozy, and clean. Pretty decent size of the room. Besides, it is right beside the station of Shizuoka.

::Fantastic & accommodating. Rooms were spacious and neatly presented, a bonus surprise was it came with phone chargers & plenty of complimentary items, such as toilet & sanitary products. All other features had no issues to report I was here for only a night stay, but didn't need my own gear as most were already provided at hotel. Would happy stay at hotel again.

::Check-in was nice and smooth until they found out we were from outside of Japan (I speak Japanese, so they didn’t notice right away). One of the clerks said stuff like “don’t trash the room”.. I don’t know what bad experience she had with foreign travelers, but we were here for the first time, and of course never make a mess at the hotel. Not a good impression at all.
