  The female clerk at the counter was extremely rude. I haven't been to the counter in over a year. I use ATMs as much as possible.

  I have lived in Japan for 11 years. I have used the post office bank and find it very difficult to continue using them but I cannot change where my salary goes. I want to open an account with this bank because it comes highly recommended by my Japanese friends but they would not allow me to! They said they do not want people opening accounts in more than one type of Bank. All I want is to put my savings money in a separate account and I don't want to deal with the post office Bank any more than I have to. They were very unhelpful and gave me absolutely no way to get around it. They just told me to "Go back to the post office bank and maybe they can help you do something".
