::I had made an appointment to see a doctor (internal medicine), but I was suddenly transferred and couldn't make it. When I contacted them to cancel my reservation and ask if they could give me a letter of introduction, they said things like ``Wouldn't it be okay if you wrote me a letter of introduction?'' and ``I can't write you a letter of introduction unless I see the doctor...!'' which seemed like a hassle. I was angry because I was being criticized. In the end, I was only able to cancel and refused to reschedule. I'm a woman, and I've never been treated like this in the many times I've been to the hospital, and the doctors and nurses have all been nice, so I'm really disappointed.
