::Best onsen experience ever 🥰 Wonderful for getaway trip from Tokyo. I spent there 2 nights on my birthday trip and they even prepared a special gift for me. Excellent meals (do book their dinner beforehand!!) I think the pictures here don't do Shikitei justice so adding a few here :p

::An amazing experience. Great room with our own private onsen. Delicious food with a lot of local products. Iwate beef steamed with onsen water was great. Friendly staff. The best overall experience we had in Tohoku.

::The facilities are clean and the staffs are nice. There is one public bath (indoor and outdoor) for each sex. The water is circulated thus has little characteristics. The food is very good.
