::Encouragements first. It’s a standard full service hotel in a nice , convenient location. The Japanese garden is beautiful. The room is great. Although, all the coffee , either the business lounge or the restaurants , are not good at all. The milk foam is crap. This can be easily improved but I guess this is not their priority. As I said, Japanese service is good I will still rank this hotel four stars, except the gym. The gym is under renovation so I can understand that the gym is lame for now. But this lame is out of my standards for a global hotel chain. The equipments are old, handmade labels for English users on the treadmill. Very very old dumbbells. Very very old mats. The mirror is too small that I barely can check myself. Not mention the chairs. Be prepared for the oldest gym chairs in Japan. Also the lightings are not for gym use either.

::The service was amazing. It seemed like most of the staff members spoke English very well, which is a huge plus for foreign travelers. However, since it was an old hotel that opened in 1979, most of the equipment was outdated. The televisions were old with no streaming features. Also, the room didn't have enough lighting and felt quite dark. But the room was clean and well-maintained despite its age.

::The rooms are very dated and the air conditioning isn't very effective. You won't find outlets near the bed, which can be problematic for charging phones or if you have a CPAP machine. The breakfast buffet is nice, and there are multiple train stops and convenience stores/grocery stores nearby. If you're looking for things to do (restaurants, shopping, etc.) near the hotel, there isn't much.

::Nice hotel if a little dated and the rooms are not that business friendly. Lovely staff and exceptional Japanese breakfast. Bed was not the most comfortable and there was no desk just around table in the middle of the floor with a chair that I had to stretch the power lead to connect to the wall from. Not very business friendly from that perspective. Shower was weird as there was no fixed shower just a bath and side shower which was not very practical. It had a lovely lounge with a great view of the trees/greenery and Kirin on tap. Nice enough just don't expect the Ritz!

::What a lovely hotel. We stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every one of them. The check-in was quick and flawless. The elevators are very fast and come quickly. The room was not huge but had all the space that we needed. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the bathroom was furnished far more than we needed. We really enjoyed the executive lounge as well as the buffet breakfast each morning. The only thing that they could do to make it better was expand their English offerings on the TV + allow the air conditioner to get the room a little cooler. Other than that. It was a perfect stay.
