::The rooms are a bit outdated, but in a great location with lots of shopping, food, and metro nearby. We stayed here twice and on both occasions, we stayed in a wing that was slightly far from the lobby - had to take 2 different elevators to get to our room. During our second stay, they gave us the smallest, narrowest corner room. Usually I wouldn’t mind but they knew we had a baby and our stroller barely fit through. It was April and the AC wasn’t working yet but the room was so hot, we would sleep with the window open. But the window in the corner room wasn’t near the bed. I complained (twice) and on the second time they moved us to “normal” room with two small beds rather than one large bed. I was happy to make the switch. The bellboy, who was a very kind female, brought us a fan and also helped us change our room. I wish I got her name, she was so kind. The people at the front desks were not as polite.

::I was there for one night. The hotel is located around 15 mins from Osaka Airport, and 20 mins from Umeda, which is convenience. There are a lot of restaurants around too, so that you can enjoy eating all the day. However, the room there is a little bit date, even the hotel push a lot of effort to improve such facts. The room was old, but all facilities works as usually. The room is a little bit dark as it is an old design. The bed was nice and good to sleep. The toilet and bath are far enough as usual hotel in Japan (bath unit). The front is getting busy all the day, so it might need to wait for a while during checkin and checkout.

::Great location very close to the Midosuji line and Monorail to Itami airport, friendly and professional staff though old fashioned and Inefficient check-in. Rooms were clean. The downside is the room and overall hotel facilities were a bit outdated for the price. This feels like a nice hotel for the late 1990s early 2000s but past its prime now and in need of refreshment ! Still not a bad choice

::We stayed one night in a triple room. The location is very convenient, near a monorail and a subway station. Our room was very quiet and we had a good night sleep despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle of a very busy town. The hotel was opened in 1970 for Osaka Expo and doesn't look modern definitely and rather a little old-fashioned, but we enjoyed the Showa-era historical atmosphere very much. The room was very clean and well-tended with a bathroom spacious in the Japanese standard. The amenities were amazing and we liked the skincare kit especially. The hotel stuff was very polite and helpful, accommodating our various needs. We will definitely come back here when visiting Osaka, although I heard that it will be demolished in a couple of years. Osaka will miss this great hotel of the Japanese Gilded Age.

::A very nice and grand hotel with long history and well liked by local people. A very nice place to have wedding party and banquet . Very spacious room and large lobby , beautiful garden and chapel for wedding . Not too far away from the station, about 7 minutes walk . Has 5 restaurants and I have tried 3, they serve very good food and the breakfast is good , They also have a salon in the hotel and I heard it is very good too. I think only very traditional and big hotel will have a salon on site, It's sad to know that they may close down for business in a few years time. Hope it will not come true.
