::An old folk house cafe where you can enjoy the owner's carefully selected coffee and handmade sweets. The seating area is spacious and bright, with a dirt floor, and the staff provide pleasant customer service. Beyond the small rise, there is a Japanese-style room that is spacious and can be used even with children. In the Buddhist altar room, there are pottery, small items, and accessories made by artists, which are pleasing to the eye. The coffee was delicious, and the black bean tea had a comforting taste. The syrup that came with the iced coffee was outstandingly delicious. The sweets were also elaborate and had a taste that warmed your heart.

::A very nice cafe that makes full use of the charm of Akita's old folk houses. You can also stay overnight there. There are 5 to 6 parking spaces in front of the store and on the side of the premises. The owner was very friendly, so I stopped by with a friend and it became one of the memories of my trip. The coffee was not too bitter, not too weak, just the right balance (I think it's a personal preference), and I regret not buying the Dripak coffee that was on sale in front of the cash register... It was also a great cafe that I definitely want to visit when I go to Akita.

::The soup we had was delicious, and the pickles we were told were made by Saruta-san's (the owner's) mother. I sat in the tatami room and it felt like eating lunch at a friend's house. Saruta-san was extremely kind and the restaurant had an very comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

::Nice cafe and accommodation with a little shop inside a huge old farmhouse situated among rice fields with nice views of the surrounding landscape. Went just after they opened on a day during Golden Week and just got the last available table -- probably best to make reservations. Nice staff and food -- that day was a curry lunch, took a little bit of time because everything is made by hand. Coffee and sweets also available.
