::It's a great value hotel with easy location and transport around Sasebo. The basic rooms aren't high end but are well kept and comfortable. However the receptionist we found was a little unfriendly, maybe he was about to close his shift. All in all, if you're looking for a good place to stay, this is your place.

::Basic room with basic amenities. There was two WiFi hotspots on the entire floor. If all they have are smoking rooms, look elsewhere. One thing that I like about hotels in the USA is that they don’t allow smoking in the hotel. Some cheap hotels or motels in the US do allow it but, likewise, if you stay at those you are asking for it as well.

::First off there was a problem with my booking but even with the English japanese language barrier the front desk staff went above and beyond to help me get the issue resolved. With that you will be hard up to find a single employee who isn't extremely friendly or helpful. The rooms albeit small to an American like myself are very cleanly kept and room service does an outstanding job making daily rounds to tidy the room to perfection. The restaurant inside the hotel is gorgeous and the food is amazing. Couple that with a clue spas and no wonder this hotel fills up fast. Being right across from one of the main shopping centers in Sasebo the Green Hotel is a must stay I assure you.

::This hotel has been in Sasebo for a long time. It's very typical of a hotel built in the late 1970's and 80's. It's still very enjoyable. I had a very nice stay there and it's close to everything. The train station and downtown areas. Venture under the back of the hotel and see the fresh fish for the sushi restaurant.

::It is a dirty, old hotel... The first room we entered had yellow walls(from the smoke and time..) and lose wallpaper, very dirty quilt and stains on the carpet, not to forget about the dirt and dead flies on the window sill. Considering the conditions we changed room and got one with a cleaner quilt (but still not very clean), same dirty old wallpaper, dirty bathroom and window sill. The two good things about the hotel were the location and the breakfast (Japanese style), otherwise it was by far the worst hotel we've stayed in Japan.
