  Great service at the hotel. Staff helped with luggage unloading from our car and brought the luggage to our rooms. Rarely stay at 4-star hotels in Japan since there are plenty of other options or ryokans, hence it was nice touch. When we enquire about the airport bus, the concierge staff immediately whipped out from her back pocket a map and timetable, and guided us to the nearest hotel exit. I was impressed with how well prepared they are. Breakfast had a wide selection too (8 different kinds of Hokkaido honeys hello). Only downside is there isn't a bath/onsen.

  Hotel with a rich history very nice amenities and white glove service. Excellent value. My room was a touch dated but served my purpose. On site club 1934 with live music a definite plus.

  We stayed here for 3 nights and loved our stay. Other hotels have “eco cleaning” where they don’t do full cleaning but this hotel provided full cleaning every night, which was great. Staffs were also very welcoming. Location is good and is directly connected to the JR and other Sapporo lines via the underground so we didn’t have to worry about the weather. Room is sufficiently big to open 2 luggages. Bed is also huge. Although the basin and bathtub are considerable low in height, maybe due to the history of the layout.

  I stayed with my family for 2 nights recently. We chose this hotel due to the location. It indeed lived up to its expectations when it comes to the location. The service was also attentive and helpful. I have to share about the room though. Unfortunately the room is in need for some renovation as its quite outdated. While overall is clean, the toilet bathroom especially the bidet was dirty and not cleaned properly. Also the air conditioner/ heater is not functioning properly so its a bit of a problem for us as its winter and these functions are vital in making our stay more comfortable. It could be just I had a bad luck assigned into the room. But I was wishing the hotel of this caliber could maintain quality of all of its rooms well.

  One of the oldest and most popular hotels in Sapporo City in Hokkaido, Sapporo Grand Hotel may easily be mistaken for a new hotel with its modern facade and interior. Regardless, for those who know, this hotel hosted world leaders in the past. We were lucky to be able to book a room here post-pandemic. During those times there were special prices for the accommodations aside from that they were also giving away 10K yen worth of vouchers to the guests which can be used in the hotel's souvenir shop. We really enjoyed our stay here as it is not only very relaxing and clean but also conveniently located near Odori Park.
