::Okayama’s famous steamed buns introduced by Hide from the Prefecture You have to wait half a year to a year for online purchases There are frozen packages sold near the station. But if you want to eat hot food, you can go to our restaurant not far from Okayama Castle. The steamed bun is very big and the portion is generous. The filling is a whole piece of stewed meat and cabbage, and a quail egg. Comes with vinegar soy sauce and yellow mustard Very tasty If you want to buy it, do it early It sells out quickly every day and the store closes at six in the evening.

::Since there was no dine-in service, I bought it and ate it while it was piping hot. The pork buns were fluffy and delicious, but the kakudamadon was even more flavorful! This is delicious. Personally, it was a taste that fit perfectly. This is a store I would like to visit again.

::Yamachin, a Chinese restaurant founded in 1969, is a 4-minute walk from Kenchodori Station on the Okayama Electric Railway Higashiyama Line. This is a shop where you can purchase delicious Chinese food such as the famous pork buns, shumai, and Chinese chimaki. Pork steamed buns in particular have been featured on Yomiuri TV's ``Secret Kenmin SHOW Kiwami'' and are so popular that you have to wait six months to a year to get them online. However, I heard that you can buy regular pork buns at the store, so I visited around 4pm on a weekend. There were two groups of customers in line, and in about 10 minutes we purchased two pork buns and had them piping hot at our accommodation. When you break open the pork bun, there are plenty of large pieces of braised braised meat and cabbage inside, as well as quail eggs, making it quite filling! The seasoning is surprisingly refreshing, so you can enjoy it without getting tired of it. Adding vinegar soy sauce and mustard midway through the cooking gives it a nice change of flavor, which is also delicious. The fluffy and soft fabric that wraps the delicious filling is also of great quality. I guess it's because of this dough that you can take advantage of the deliciousness of this filling. The meat buns are large, but before you know it, you'll have eaten them all in no time! If you want to eat delicious meat buns in Okayama, you can't go wrong with Yamachin! Thank you for the meal.

::Pork buns are quite famous, and there are frozen ones for sale inside Okayama Station. Some people think it's expensive at over 400 yen, but it does contain a lot of ingredients. The quail eggs and braised pork are the main dishes and are delicious. I've heard that it sells out every day, so if you want to eat it, I recommend eating before noon.

::I received the pork bun and chimaki! Surprised by the quality 🫨 I thought the pork buns were expensive at 420 yen, but the moment I put them in my mouth, my body understood the value lol. I'm grateful that this store exists in my hometown of Okayama 🙏 Recommended is the pork bun and chimaki! The tamaki (chimaki) made with chewy glutinous rice is soaked in a special Chinese soup stock, and the flavor is overflowing with every bite. The pork kakuni is also so flavorful that it’s the best😁 I'll go again
