  I visited Obuse for the first time. I went to Sakurai Kanseido Cafe Chakura on the recommendation of a friend. When you think of Obuse, you think of chestnuts. When it comes to chestnuts, Sakurai Kanseido seems to recommend them. The soft serve ice cream was topped with Mont Blanc paste and it was really delicious 🌰 We also had chestnut chiffon cake, chestnut rice balls, and chestnut karinto manju. The weather was nice so we ate it on the terrace in front of us. I will definitely stop by again when I come to Obuse.

  The Mont Blanc I bought the last time I was there was so delicious that I stopped by again. I also appreciate that it's open from 10am. I also bought Mont Blanc, cream puffs, and chiffon cake, and they were all delicious. The chiffon cake is so delicious that I could eat two servings of it. Also... there was a deep-fried chestnut bun... but I later regretted that I should have bought a box. delicious! Well, next time I come, I'll buy a lot. It was a feast. I'll come back later!

  Mont Blanc soft serve ice cream, 500 yen, is unique. It seems to be a leading local confectionery store. There is a dining area across the road. Credit card and QR code payment possible.

  Quiet little cafe that offers outdoor seating. Local made products available for sale too.
