::All about location. Close to main lines of the trams, just across the street to the JR main station. Rooms are basic with japanese aize style, but the batheoom is much smaller than usual. It is OK for a very short atay in a very central place. Be aware that the main entrance moving sensor for the door to opwn is not working in some cases, the staff dont care about it, even if waited for several minutea just to enter the hotel, twice.

::The good thing about this hotel is that it is right by the Hakodate station. The room was super small but the view was good. The window was able to open.. the onsen was very simple and have not much amenities. The view onsen was covered up probably to prevent people to see inside from the outside. Doesn't feel much effect of the hot spring water and I accidentally tasted it.. they are salty. Service, most of the staff are quite polite except for a few breakfast female staff who looks irritated. The breakfast was so so.. nothing much to brag about. No salmon sashimi and salmon roe on my stay which was a shame. If looking for a real onsen experience hotel in Hakodate, then probably you gotta look for other hotel. Only 1 small pool available and sauna. Depends on your budget. This onsen pool are more like communal bath rather than onsen. Oh ya, the massage machines are quite affordable.

::Room and Hotspring were very clean. I booked smoking room, but hotel could change my room non-smoking, it was very grad for me. There is free coffee service, so I could enjoy hot coffee in room and outside hotel when travelling. The hotel located very near from station just 2-3 min to walk. Very good place for sightseeing Hakodate.

::It's not a super-fancy place - but it is ideally located for train-travelers. They had a very good breakfast buffet (open 6:30-9) There is a pleasant, very clean and very well equipped onsen on the top floor available to hotel clients for free. We had a twin non-smoking room, it was of course small by US standards but perfectly adequate for two of us, we thought it was more spacious and comfy than some of the reviewers had suggested. The staff were friendly, one of them spoke English. They have an excellent espresso maker free in the lobby (limited hours) Overall, we were perfectly content for our 2 night stay...
