::Outstanding Service at Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba My stay at Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba was remarkable thanks to their exceptional service. I sent my ski trip luggage ahead via Yamato Transport's Black Cat service, and the hotel not only stored it for six weeks but had it waiting in my room upon my arrival. Their proactive and accommodating approach made my visit stress-free. The hotel offers convenient amenities like laundry services and an ice machine, and its location is ideal, surrounded by numerous restaurants and excellent transport links. I highly recommend Richmond Hotel Tokyo Shiba for anyone seeking comfort and convenience in Tokyo.

::Very nice Botique Hotel, a gem of a property! Great location and walking distance (3 minutes) to a nice park, beautiful Temple, a 10 minute walk to the Skytower (don’t go to the top if you’re prone to panic or anxiety attacks when confined to small spaces packed with too many people for the space! 🥴

::No restaurant. If you book breakfast you will just get a voucher for Starbucks downstairs. 900 yen per day. It won't buy much at Starbucks. There are plenty of other hotels in the location offering buffet breakfast, which is the standard in Japan. A resident of Japan does not have to present a residence card or passport on check-in. However, this hotel told me by email that "Our hotel regulations require all foreign guests to present their residence card or passport". Of course I refused but I felt pressured to present it.

::What a great hotel! The location, service, and accommodations were way better than the price point and hotel rating indicated. For our trip to Tokyo, we wanted something close to a subway station but away from the super-busy tourist centers. Richmond Hotel Shiba was perfect, about a block from the subway entrance and extremely quiet and relaxed but still had plenty of nearby restaurants and convenience stores. The staff are very courteous and friendly, they were helpful but not obtrusive in any way. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, we were very comfortable with the bedding and bathroom linens. I can’t rave about the location more, off the beaten path but a Starbucks in the building and a view of Tokyo Tower right out your door. We will definitely be back to visit Richmond Hotel Shiba!
