::Use the service in the afternoon, wait in line a bit, the menu has a moderate selection, the food tastes good, the portions are large, the staff forgot to write down one of our food items, but the staff is cute, willing to serve, impressed. review at 16 aug 2024

::Not the best Tendon I had in Japan, but definitely up there in the top. the Tempura are very crispy not too greasy. Rice is, what can I say, Japanese rice is just on a whole different level, and this is coming from a Asian. For all my the "alcoholic" Kyushu is known for their sweet potato shochu (Imo Jochu)芋焼酎, this is a must try. Even when I'm already back in the US, I went to local Japanese market and got me some of that.

::We had an enjoyable dinner. The stewed fish head was done very well. The assortment of sashimi of bonito fish, hamachi, river shrimp and squid were fresh and sweet. Tempura prawn and shiitake mushrooms were lightly floured and tasty.

::A little overhyped. I heard great things about this place, but didn’t really find it terribly worthwhile. Had the sashimi teishoku and while there was a lot of food it was mostly mediocre—the fried fish was especially hard to eat. The best part of my meal was the homemade rakkyo (pickled onion) and the kabosu hachimitsu mixed drink. Also the staff kept talking about “how many foreigners there were”.

::Great local restaurant! Must make a reservation in advance otherwise expect a long queue. Good place to try local fish dishes and fired chicken (とり天) I ordered heated sake (熱燗), good one too!
