::Kakuni ramen. That’s all you need. The rich broth, the melting pork meat. Thick noodles cooked to perfection. I love this kind of family restaurant. 2 tables and counter seating only. I will be back often.

::If you are in the area you must go! WARNING the large bowl is very large with lots of delicious noodles, so order accordingly I would suggest the house ramen ramen in SM or MD and an order of the famous gyoza with something to drink! The house ramen was the most tender pork cubes that tasted wonderful beyond words easily within top 5 ramens I've ever tried.

::Ramen was good, pork was very good saw them cooking the charsiu pork right there home made fresh. The gyoza here were fantastic some of the best I have had, one of the older men was making them fresh from scratch! Worth the trip here just for the gyoza alone!

::Parked at the drugstore (30 min free if you buy something, any amount) not knowing that the shop has five free spaces nearby.!!!!… whoops for the lack of investigation. Husband and I liked our ramens very much. The chashu and kakuni were both incredibly tender; my chashu fell apart when I tried to hold it with chopsticks! Kakuni is quite sweet and you can taste the star anise- nothing like I’ve tasted before but tasty indeed. Noodles are on the soft (?) side so I may have liked it better “katame” (firm). But the broth is not too salty or oily or thick, and we aren’t feeling heavy afterwards either. It is obviously an older, old-fashioned place; one may hesitate to enter, but it’s definitely worth a try. Just be careful not to slip… :)
