  I stopped by on a trip to buy some sashimi, but I was in trouble because there was no soy sauce in the pack, near the sashimi corner, or at the service counter. There are hotels near Takaoka Station, so tourists may stop by there, but buying soy sauce by the bottle means it will be in your luggage, so I would like them to keep single-use sized soy sauce.

  Customer base is dying due to labor cost cuts It was a weekday evening and there were only two senior cashiers working. Even if there is a line of about 4 or 5 people at each register, there are people who don't call for help or interrupt people. What surprised me was an elderly couple with small children who barged in front of someone who seemed unlikely to fight back. When I was checking out, I looked at them to see if they were seriously not calling for help in this situation, and they said, ``You're late at the register'' and ``Don't look around (at me?).'' It's true that senior store clerks are slow at registering, perhaps because of their age, but it's the store manager's job to train employees to call for help at the cashier, and if the headquarters wants to reduce personnel costs, I'd like them to consider self-checkout. It used to be a store where there was a staff member who carried large bags of elderly people and people with children to the soccer table, but now it has turned into a shop where people can interrupt and win.
