::Most people wouldn't say that they enjoy going to the dentist. However, I absolutely have to say dental services here are fantastic and it's always a pleasurable experience every time I go. When I leave Japan I will definitely Miss being able to go to a dentist makes it enjoyable.

::We went on a Wednesday for an exam because our son had a cavity - the doctor said that he would need an extraction versus a filling - but our time was up for the day after X-rays and the exam - we had a 9:30 appt and weren't pulled back to the room until 10am.. so at 10:30 our scheduled slot was up. So we had to make another appointment that wouldn't be for another month - allowing the cavity to get worse. They found another doctor that could get him in sooner 2 days later - but by then apparently it had swelling and they couldn't do it. The hospital on base helped us and our child. White dental didn't care what happened to our kid, only how much they could get out of us. They had a nonchalant way about them and don't have any care for little kids (our son was 4)

::I'm being nice because they did a good job on my teeth. However, I would advise staff that some foreigners understand Japanese. I would be careful what you say and when you say it.

::Great dental experience. The staff was upfront and accomodates us during dental emergency. They clearly communicates D costs and length to complete the procedure. Kids cleaning were great, I was allowed to stay with my youngest and called back to discuss findings for my other child.

::Needed to go to the dentist for a routine cleaning and Okinawa White Dental was highly recommended. As you enter the dentist it is very clean and professional. The desk clerks help get everything settled and you can use international insurance or pay by cash/credit card. An excellent experience as they walk you through each step and offer choices such as flouride types. All in all a great experience and probably the best dentist I have been to as of yet!
