  What a lunch at 小布施堂! The price is very reasonable, and the selling point is the 'chestnut'. Honestly, the dessert overwhelmingly outpaced the other courses, although they were also excellent. 😅😅😅😅😅😅

  Was here for a chestnut lunch course but apparently February was not the season so they don’t serve that when we visited. However they do gave us a chestnut dessert for free after we lunch there. Worth the visit

  We stopped by Obuse for a short trip and found this restaurant. We had a set meal here and everything was wonderful! We were one of the few customers and Wa served promptly. Food was so good we ordered a second set.

  You can enjoy very sophisticated Japanese food at this restaurant. Using seasonal vegetables, the cooking method is great, and the flavour is very modern. If you want to eat early, I think it's a bento style, and if you have time, you should make it a course. The food content and price are the same.

  Had a rich chestnut experience here xxx If you love chestnuts this is the place to come. I reserved the special lunch course which was very fulfilling, and seats were well social distanced. Just one note, the 朱雀Suzaku (100% chestnut) was a little to big of a proportion for one person (in my opinion)...! I was already a satisfied with half the size!! P.s. people sitting next to us brought some container themselves and were taking the Suzaku home ! Haha I mean that’s how big it is. But unfortunately they don’t have any more this year... you can try next year if you’re interested!
