::First visit on September 27th. Fishermen are said to be concentrating on kelp fishing at this time of year, so fresh fish dishes are completely gone. My husband and I had chashu noodles and miso ramen. It's normal for the mother to run the restaurant by herself, so it's natural that it takes a long time to serve the food, but if you're dissatisfied, please go to the drive-in across the street. I think the peak season for fresh fish is from May to July (it depends on the local fishing in the fall as well), so it's best to call on the day of your visit to confirm that it's in stock before coming. Next time I will come to eat sea urchin!

::2024/07/21 I stopped by for the first time. I had been passing by the store for a while and had heard rumors about it, so I finally stopped by. Lately, it seems that sea urchins are not available due to poor fishing. I was told that it would be better to call if you are looking for sea urchin. This time I went by chance, but there seemed to be a little bit of it, so I ordered a seafood bowl that also had sea urchin! Even the seafood bowl is mostly sea urchin lol The mother who is a good storyteller will tell you stories so you won't get bored while waiting. The sea urchin is rich and very delicious! The items on the rice bowl seem to change depending on the season, so if you go during the season, you'll be able to eat different toppings. Is the recent business from GW to the end of October? I heard this through my mom's small talk, but I remember it well😅 A few motorcycles can be parked in front of the store, but it is difficult to push them because there is a slight slope in relation to the road. If you are worried about handling, it is better to take a closer look. . It's a place I'd like to visit again.

::I woke up early on May 3, the first day of the second half of Golden Week, and ran towards a ramen shop in Mutsu City, but it was closed 😭 I suddenly thought about it and decided to drive the car to see Hotokegaura, but the weather is getting worse and worse💦 The weather is so windy that there are white waves in Mutsu Bay. It wasn't long before I arrived at Hotsugaura, and as I was walking along the promenade, I found wooden stairs and steep roads that I was afraid to go down as I have a fear of heights... By the time I returned, my body was getting cold, so I went around to the Oma side and went down to Nuido Shokudo, which I immediately stopped by. The friendly mother is all alone and says apologetically that the only thing she has is ramen. Since I was feeling cold, I wanted to eat ramen, so I ordered "Charshu Men". Looking back, I regret that I should have ordered seafood ramen🦐🍜. According to the shop's mother, they don't serve sea urchin bowls these days. The price of sea urchin has gone up these days, and we can't offer it cheaply, so we don't do it anymore... If you're looking for sea urchin bowl, I was told to go to the drive-in across the road, but I was satisfied with the ramen🍜. Needless to say, my mother told me that she wanted to keep her hair thin and long, and that she would come back again...

::*From 2022, it seems that reservations are required for the sea urchin bowl. Also, it seems that it is only open during the season when sea urchins can be caught (from mid-June to late August (?)). Please be careful. I wanted to eat a delicious sea urchin bowl, so I searched for it and came across it, so I came here (visit date was June 21, 2023). I thought I could have sea urchin bowl for ¥1,500 as mentioned in other people's reviews, but it was now available for ¥3,500😅 The sea urchin was very filling and tasted delicious even without soy sauce, making me very satisfied! According to what I hear, the owner has gotten much older and can no longer go fishing in person like he used to, so he has had to make reservations and raise the price. Currently, it seems that they are operating by purchasing reservations from the fishing cooperative on the morning of the day. For that reason, those who have not made a reservation will be refused entry. In fact, while we were eating, three groups of people came without reservations and turned us away. If you are lucky enough to have a reservation canceled, you may be able to eat there without a reservation. When visiting, it seems that you need to call the day before to make a reservation, and then check to see if they have it in stock on the day. (As expected, the time was tight, so I decided to call around 9 o'clock.) Even if you make a reservation, depending on the weather the day before or the day of the event, it may not be possible to purchase from the fisheries association, so it is essential to call on the day of the event. In addition to sea urchin bowl, they also have zaru chuka and seafood ramen, so if they can't get sea urchin, it might be a good idea to let them know that you'd like to try those. If you really want to eat sea urchin, you can either go to the store across the street that sells it (according to other people's reviews, the amount of sea urchin seems to be average) or go to Omazaki. You can eat sea urchin bowl, tuna bowl, and set meals, so you might want to consider those as well!

::I stopped here on two different cross-country bicycle trips: June 4, 2016 and July 29, 2017. The specialty at Nuido is uni of which I’m not partial. However, as it was cool in June and the rain had just stopped I went in to warm up with a coffee. Not on the menu! However, one of the ladies went to her home, made coffee and brought it back for me. That made my day! On the second trip the owner was just as welcoming and the ramen good. I hope to visit again.
