::This hotel is old school and worn down. It feels like something out of the 1980s, but hasn't been refreshed since then. The bedside drawer is totally not working, the bedside lamp is spoilt too. I thought it wasn't too dirty, but the corners of the room, the windows and the lamps are dusty. I would have never expected this at a hotel in Japan. It feels more like a backpacker kind of hotel/ one room hostel - so like one of the reviews at the bottom, we are just going to convince ourselves that this hotel works if we just sleep. There is no mood to do anything else like chat, or even boil water and have supper. The room is on the bigger side for Japan standard (although still small for 3 of us), but the toilet is tiny. While the price is much cheaper than the surrounding hotels, it is not worth it at all. My family all agreed we should have either booked a hotel further out, or pay more to stay at other newer hotels. Never again, and I highly recommend that you look elsewhere, unless you want something "cheaper" and in this area.

::Stayed there in October of 2023. We booked the twin sharing room. Decent size for Japan hotel standards. Mattress is quite soft. Near the Akasaka Metro. About 20-30 min walking distance from the city centre (i.e. riverside). Right next to the Fukuoka Castle Ruins area. There's a Lawson and 7/11 nearby. No daily housekeeping service but they'll leave clean towels and robes in front of your door. Overall, value for money.

::Location is good, a metro nearby. However there were some issues I found important to address; the room was quite dirty, dust had not been removed in ages as seen on the lamps etc. As someone with asthma I was quite disappointed that they couldn't do such a basic thing. Breakfast was included and okay, nothing special. Bed's were old but did the job well. But I think cleanliness is very important for a hotel, the entrance was clean but the room was not. I wouldn't stay here again for that reason. It is like sleeping over at grandma's in her musky, old, dusty guest room that hasn't been open to the public for a decade.

::I only stayed this hotel for reasonable price. Unfortunately, one of front members avoided speaking English. I found somone's hair(just one) on the bed. Bathroom was very small but it was okay for me. Everything was old. House keeping tried to clean up the room tidy and clean. This hotel is located in exit 1 at Akasaka station. There are the Lawson convenience store and the park near the hotel.

::The room is clean, but the bathroom is super small. The in-room wifi is strong and stable. They provide very basic breakfast (bread, croissant, boiled eggs, orange juice, milk and coffee, tea). 5 min walk from Akasaka metro station.
