  I am a wheelchair user. The other day (one day in October 2020), I went to this hospital for a ``medical checkup for people with physical disabilities in wheelchairs''. As the name suggests, this is a health checkup conducted by Niigata City for disabled people aged 18 years or older who use wheelchairs and live at home. The application is made in Niigata City, where the patient selects and makes an appointment at one of several designated medical institutions. The only reason I chose this hospital was because it was easily accessible from the bus stop closest to my home, but when I actually visited the hospital, I noticed the following. -The terminal is from Niigata Station and the starting point is from the hospital, making it easy and inexpensive to access for other wheelchair users who use Niigata Station. ・The hospital bus stop is next to the entrance. As mentioned above, this is the starting and ending point, so there is plenty of time to get on and off the train in a wheelchair. However, the width of the passageway between the boarding area and the entrance is approximately 80cm, making it somewhat narrow for wheelchairs. ･There are three parking spaces in the parking lot with the international symbol printed on them near the entrance to the hospital. ・The entrance is an automatic (probably) revolving door. I don't like revolving doors, but the hospital staff helped me when I entered the hospital without having to ask. - Although the health checkup was conducted at the same time as the general public checkup, the checkup proceeded smoothly without waiting or rushing, and it took about an hour from arrival at the hospital to the end of the checkup. ･It might just be at that time, but all the staff, including the doctor who interviewed me, were as friendly as if they had been coming to the hospital for years. ･Maybe it's natural since it's a hospital, but there are multiple multi-functional and multi-purpose toilets. -The rotary in front of the hospital entrance was a good size and was not crowded, and there were many wheelchair users getting in and out of their own cars (family cars) here, probably because there were no steps between the sidewalk and the road. Taxis are waiting for customers at this rotary. ・To get to the pharmacy, you will have to cross the road within the premises, but it is located near the hospital entrance and the passageway to get there is flat, making it easy to move around in a wheelchair. The passageway that connects to the outside of the premises is also a slope.
