Natural hot spring Heiwajima in Ōta-ku

  This natural onsen is close to Haneda Airport, in less than 30 minutes' traffic. While the onsen water/ pools are not particularly impressive, what attracts the commuters is its facilities. It has a large relaxation area, in which you could readily find a lounger to nap on. At ￥2,200, you are admitted to this onsen, which is open 24/7. Plus you get a meal included. I arrived at this place at 6 in the morning and I was told I could stay until 6 in the evening. I was given a breakfast ticket, by which I gorged in its self-serving cafeteria. An awesome outpost close to the Airport for commuters on their way to or from flight.

  A great place to rest or kill time while waiting for an early or late flight from haneda. Prices are also reasonable (at least for onsen + free breakfast, did not try other services), and the shuttle bus is very handy (though infrequent).

  I was invited here on a date and it was a nice experience. The Jacuzzi is just like you'd find in the states. Other facilities are good. All around a good relaxing experience.
