  Local eatery that is popular with locals and visitors for their huge portions. Their sauce katsu seems to be the most popular item on the menu, however, I opted to try their katsu curry instead. After a short wait I was presented with a huge serving of rice and katsu that is covered in curry. The pictures don't really do it justice, you could easily split this between two people and I bet that by the end both of you would be very satisfied. The katsu itself was still surprisingly crunchy underneath all the curry and not soggy as I expected. Overall I can see why this would be popular: huge tasty portions at a reasonable price. The only bad thing I've got to say is that the quality of the meat isn't the best. It was rather tough to be honest and I've had much better elsewhere.

  Delicious sauce pork katsu rice! Adatara curry rice is very good!

  Volumey dishes at this popular restaurant near Dake Onsen. Sauce Katsu is a local specialty. Horse-meat dishes are also available.

  Curry and fried pig rice are very delicious and big. About salty for Taiwanese by the way.
