::After a morning of running, good Napoli pizza and a beer hit the spot. 👍

::I recently dined at an Italian restaurant near JR Wakayama Station, drawn in by the prospect of a good lunch. Opting to eat in, I was unfortunately met with disappointment. The pasta, which I had high hopes for, turned out to be quite average – lacking in both flavor and the authentic Italian essence I was expecting. The most notable letdown, however, was the rice. It was underwhelming and frankly, quite unpalatable – a stark contrast to what one would expect in an establishment priding itself on Italian cuisine. The texture was off, and the taste did not complement the other elements of the meal. While the location was convenient, just a short walk from the station, the food quality, particularly the rice, did not meet the standards I had anticipated for a restaurant in such a prime spot. This experience was a stark reminder that not all eateries near major transport hubs guarantee a satisfactory meal. Despite the ease of access, the lackluster dishes made my lunch less enjoyable than expected.

::Great pizza and a friendly english speaking staff. In 2F are tables with sofas and a cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. The price is very good.

::Overpriced food and terrible service. We got the 4 cheese pasta with salmon, pepperoncino pasta and spare ribs. You can literally get the same quality pasta for much cheaper in 7/11. It was good, but nothing special. The ribs were stewed and was not what we had in mind. The server didn't write down our order (which was given by my Japanese boyfriend), and had to come back to take our order again. She also forgot that we had ordered garlic bread and never brought it for us. The entrance is also very sticky and dirty, like nobody cleans anything in that restaurant. The cover charge is also 650/person and was not mentioned beforehand or advertised on their page. It's definitely not worth going at all.

::I went here for lunch. You can have pizza/pasta, a small salad, a small dessert and a soft drink for 1000 yen (incl tax) so it's quite good value. On weekdays you can have unlimited drinks for one hour (I had 2 ginger ales and a coffee). They also have alcoholic drinks for 300 yen at lunchtime. The pizza I got was fine (Diavola) but I would recommend paying the extra 100 yen for extra mozzarella. You can choose from 34 pizzas but you have to pay a surcharge for some of them. There are nice sofas and chairs on the 2nd floor. I would come back here again for lunch and I would like to try their pasta too. (I increased the score for 3 to 4 because the pizza I had on my second visit was really good).
