::I visited him for lunch during Golden Week and tried Himeji's specialties, ``Himeji Oden'', ``Doroyaki'', and ``Himeji Champon''. A restaurant where you can eat Himeji's specialties all at once. Himeji Oden is a dish of seeds cooked in dashi stock and eaten with ginger and soy sauce. It's refreshing and delicious. Doroyaki (I forgot to take a photo) is made by combining all the ingredients for takoyaki and grilling it on a griddle. My recommendation was pork, so I got it instead of octopus, but it looked more like an omelet. The soup comes with the soup, so you dip it in like Akashiyaki and eat it with a spoon. Himeji Champon is a type of Champon in which udon noodles (Inaniwa udon style) and Yakisoba noodles are stir-fried together. Of course, they have the usual izakaya menu, but they also have Hinepon and Himejiyaki, so I thought it was a very convenient place for tourists.

::A teppanyaki restaurant where you can eat Himeji's specialty doroyaki! At a restaurant without a takoyaki maker, a customer's child “I want to eat takoyaki! ” to the request Apparently, Doro-yaki was created by the shop owner in response. It tastes even better when you know its roots. It was delicious with the mushy, fluffy dough! As you can see in the attached image, you can enjoy it in any way you like, such as adding it to the soup stock like Akashiyaki, or adding sauce or mayonnaise. Other orders include Himeji-yaki, ginger-flavored Himeji oden, and Hinepon. Exactly Himeji! I drank a lot of alcohol and left the store tipsy. Thank you for the meal.

::If you want an authentic atmosphere, great staff and a friendly welcome then you choose the right place. We got a warm welcome and we were kindly offered the English menu. The food was tasty and when you order the big menu you will be satisfied. All in all the perfect start of our exploring in Himeji.
